We’re a start-up, with a different view on the energy industry- the world is changing fast, but energy companies are not.

In fact, they’re all the same really, some of the newer ones might be cheaper and give better customer service, but deep down they’re the same as the Big Six. Deep down they don’t want you to save energy and money, they can’t. Their shareholders have invested in an energy retailer, it’s what they do. Selling more energy makes them more money.

We’re different, we’re Igloo Energy, a bright new idea in energy retail in the UK.

Built for your smartphone, we’re building an energy company for the connected generation. Designed to help make our customers’ homes smarter, use less energy and cost less to run, we’re building the first energy company in the world that doesn’t want to sell more energy!

Who we’re looking for

We are looking to develop our management team of tomorrow and will be recruiting the best graduate talent of today to learn the business and grow with us.

We’re a start-up, so this is no stuffy corporate job with explicit role descriptions, it’s an opportunity to learn-by-doing, under the guidance of experienced, dynamic leadership. You will have real responsibility and the ability to progress on merit from day one.

You will have the opportunity to fail, but you will always have our support and encouragement- because you’ll learn more and benefit from the experience. The key to success will be the real ability to work well in a team and show good leadership at any level- we work in an environment of trust, so knowing we have each-others’ back is important.

This role will see you specialise in customer services and industry led operational tasks. We need you to have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge which will see you become one of our in-house energy industry experts. You'll get to work in a small team where together you'll be the game changers driving processes forward, overcoming challenges and solving problems.

Requirements

You'll need to be graduate level with confidence, energy, resilience and great ideas. We are growing fast, and things are changing all the time, so you will need to be agile, dynamic and able to identify and exploit the next opportunity- so that you will get to see your impact on the organisation and its customers.
